August 15, 2026

On August 15, 2026, the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the foundation of our Diocese (August 24, 1956) during the first ever Diocesan Eucharistic Congress to be held in the West Plains Civic Center. All people of the diocese are invited to participate in a year of spiritual preparation for this momentous celebration.

Our mothers and babies thrive because of a strong, caring community, and we need compassionate volunteers to help in meaningful ways. We are always looking for Transportation, Childcare, Kitchen and Garden volunteers that are willing to share their time and talents with us at both of our LifeHouses.
